Naxos is a great place for scuba diving, fishing or just snorkeling, apart from the sandy beaches there are places in Naxos with rocky sea bed which are the favorite spots of big beautiful fishes and of course divers.

We have dived all around Naxos and we chose the best places for scuba lovers:

Nice catch! : A 10 kilos "Sinagrida"

* Naxos West coast:

- Aliko

- Grotta

- Abraam

Nikos with a dangerous catch: A 5 kilos "Mougri"

*Naxos East coast:

- Lionas

- Azalas

- Moutsouna (our favorite)

- Psili ammos

An average fishing day: 5 pieces of 1,5 kilos each "Kefalos"

Be careful, there are two species which are very dangerous: "Smerna" (A yellow with black spots on it, sea snake) which is extremely poisonous and can cause death and the scorpion fish ("Skorpina" in greek) which is not as dangerous as "smerna" but its bite in proportion to its size can be very painful.

Another good catch: 7 pieces of 1 kilo each "Kefalos" & 3 pieces of almost 1 kilo each "Sargos"

As travelers and inhabitants of Naxos, under the support and according to the standards of P.A.D.I. (Professional Association of Diving Instructors), in the beautiful beach of Plaka, at the west side of the island, organised and setup the first diving center of Naxos. We have known and loved the sea of this place since our childhood so we believe we can be for you the best guides at this part of the Aegean Sea.
